July 20, 2015 | Arlington National Cemetery

The National Association of Landscape Professionals is proud to honor America's veterans and leaders during this day of service, and we welcome you to join us in this nationally recognized event. Each year, this event draws hundreds of landscape and lawn care professionals from across the country to Arlington National Cemetery to spend the day mulching, cabling and installing lightening protection for trees, pruning, planting, and liming and aerating more than 200 acres.

  • This is the largest landscape industry day of service in the country.
  • 2014 marked the 18th anniversary of the National Association of Landscape Professional's Renewal & Remembrance event.
  • In 2014, more than 400 adults, approximately 100 companies and 40 children participated in this time-honored event.
  • Many of those who participate have a personal connection to Arlington National Cemetery, either through their own service or they have a friend of family member buried there.

The following video, produced by STIHL Inc., an event sponsor, tells the story of the annual Renewal & Remembrance event at Arlington National Cemetery.
