NALP has partnered with Pathful Connect (previously NEPRIS) to help prepare students for careers in the landscape and lawn care industry!

Pathful joins educators and learners with a network of industry professionals, virtually, bringing real-world relevance and career exposure to students. Pathful also provides a skills-based volunteering platform for organizations to extend education outreach and build their brand for the future workforce. 

What does Pathful do? 

Pathful provides the technology to engage employers to develop the talent pipeline and prepare the future workforce. By providing the technology, it gives us our industry a platform to share with students and educators an exciting world where landscape and lawn care professionals care for the environment where we LIVE, WORK and PLAY.  Students will gain a real-life understanding of a professional career in the landscape and lawn care industry by integrating academic skills, personal interests, and industry specific competencies. The platform helps remove barriers to reach students, provides educators the tools they need for career awareness, and makes it easy for landscape professionals to share their skills and expertise to students across the country.

All industry professionals are welcome to participate, including lawn and landscape professionals, state associations, industry-specific national associations, college educators, suppliers, manufacturers, and more.

Landscape and Lawn Care Professionals

Pathful allows professionals to share their skills with students virtually and nationwide. Without leaving your office, you can connect with learners to provide insight into careers in our industry to transform their learning. 

Through the skills-based volunteering platform, you can:

  • Browse and accept relevant virtual volunteer opportunities
  • Offer a virtual chat on a topic of your choice to reach more learners
  • Answer career questions from students
To present LIVE on the Pathful platform, simply click the button below and hit the sign-up button to set-up your profile. Once that’s complete, you can submit a LIVE chat or choose from ‘volunteer opportunities’ where educators have requested particular volunteers to chat with their students. Live presentations (chats) are open to educators (over 135,000) and students (1.5 million) across the country.

All presentations are LIVE and VIRTUAL. Presentations are held LIVE and recorded, and then reside in the Pathful library where educators can browse, check-out, and present previously recorded ‘chats’ to their students.
