What are the high-level topics?
This two-day workshop will touch on out-of-the-box strategies for recruiting and retaining employees. You’ll learn how other professions are responding to the nationwide workforce shortage to shine a light on what the landscape industry should be considering. We’ll have tough conversations about what it takes to truly create a welcoming, diverse and inclusive company culture. And you’ll hear from landscape professionals as they share personal success stories, including how they’ve partnered with local schools and educators, addressed the labor gap by utilizing automated mowers, and implemented apprenticeship and work-study programs to attract young talent.
What is included in registration?
Registration includes incredible interactive programming, breakfast, lunch and a welcome reception on the first day, as well as breakfast on day two. Non-hosted lunch outings are open to all attendees on day two; please register in advance.

This summit will be held at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town, located at 1767 King Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.
Where can I park?
The hotel will offer parking in its parking garage. Guest of the hotel will receive discounted overnight parking at $26.00 per night.
Where should I stay?
It is advisable to stay in the host hotel where programming will be held. However, there are plenty of other properties in nearby proximity. Contact Amy for more details.
What airport do I fly into?
Washington Reagan National Airport is the closest airport to the conference hotel. However, Dulles International Airport is located about an hour west.
What's the dress code?
Recommended attire is business casual. We recommend wearing layers as the hotel conference rooms can be chilly.
