NALP supports the robust regulatory framework for the registration and use of pesticide products both with the EPA at the federal level and with the individual state lead agencies. The maintenance of lawns and landscapes is central to the mission of NALP members. To accomplish this mission, NALP members employ agronomic practices and integrated pest management protocols to keep plants healthy. NALP plays a central role in advocating for science-based pesticide policies, interfacing with elected officials, state and federal regulators, pesticide manufacturers, allied associations, and the general public to educate them on the benefits of healthy landscapes and the stewardship that NALP members employ every day in their work.
