Industry Collective

Our industry has a huge heart when it comes to giving back. So we are pleased to partner with the Industry Collective, started by Loving’s Mike Haynes and Jamie Waldron, which provides an easy way for landscape, lawn care and supplier companies to give back to their communities during team building experiences.

The initiative, launched in 2021, started with 23 companies that hosted 97 community service events at their facilities — together, packing more than 28,000 hygiene kits for distribution to local charities.

How It Works

The Industry Collective facilitates projects like putting together meal kits and hygiene kits that you and your team work together to pack.

Companies are invited to participate at whatever level works best for their goals, time-constraints, and budget. Often these events are hosted at the start of a workday, are used to gather teams who are working remotely or are opportunities to gather an entire staff team who wants to add a purposeful project to their day. The Industry Collective makes it easy by handling the logistics for you.

Sign up by January 31, 2023, to be included in the Winter 2022 Meal Kits for Children project.

Become a Financial Partner

In partnership with the NALP, the Industry Collective is now providing an opportunity for companies who wish to support the Industry Collective initiative financially. Donations will be used to provide scholarship grants to companies who have the staff to serve but lack the financial resources to participate. All donations will be used to maximize impact of meal and hygiene kits distributed across the country to people in need. Sponsors will receive an update at the end of each quarter with details about how their money is making a difference.

Apply for a Scholarship

Through the partnership with the National Association of Landscape Professionals and financial partners the Industry Collective now has an opportunity to grant scholarships to first-time Industry Collective participants. If you are looking for a way to get involved but lack the financial resources at this time to participate, read through the scholarship details and complete the application.
