About NALP

The National Association of Landscape Professionals (formed by a merger of the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA) and the Professionals Lawn Care Association of America (PLCAA) is the trade association representing nearly 200,000 landscape industry professionals in the United States, Canada and overseas.

Our member companies specialize in lawn care, landscape design and installation, landscape maintenance, tree care, irrigation and water management, horticulture, and interior plantscaping. Our membership also includes industry suppliers and manufacturers, consultants, students and faculty, and non-profit organizations.

We are committed to advancing the industry and helping our members achieve success through advocacy and government relations, education, networking, training, and certifications.

Giving Back Through Volunteer Service

Our industry gives back all year round. We honor that volunteer spirit through our national day of service – Renewal and Remembrance – held in Washington D.C. each July. We also partner with other volunteer service organizations.
