Certified Graduate
"We have found that passing the NALP certifications is a great way our students can demonstrate their knowledge and skills. Some employers place a high value on certification, and we have seen where graduates get a better starting position because they have passed one of the certification exams. At Brigham Young University, we use the test as an exit examination, to see how well our students are learning what the industry expects them to know."

-Phil S. Allen, Ph.D.
Landscape Industry Certified Manager
BYU-Provo Professor

"I took the exam because I wanted to take every opportunity to further my education and have a step-up on other students who may be competing in the marketplace with me."

-Beth Hansen,
Landscape Industry Certified Manager,
BYU-Provo Graduate

"Studying for and taking the exam gave me a better understanding of the industry and what a future employer will expect from me."

-Trenton Spratling,
Landscape Industry Certified Manager, BYU-Provo Graduate
