Evolution
The Latino Landscape Network at NALP grew out of the National Hispanic Landscape Alliance, founded in 2011 to empower the community of more than 500,000 Hispanic-Americans employed in the landscape industry in the United States. In April of 2020, NHLA became part of the National Association of Landscape Professionals, ensuring a strong voice in the industry’s national trade organization and building a broader national coalition to support this critical sector of the industry.
In the fall of 2020, NHLA became the Latino Landscape Network which is managed by an Advisory Board of former NHLA Board of Directors members. The Latino Landscape Network invites all Hispanic landscape employees, company owners, and managers to join the community and get involved in the Network.
