National Collegiate Landscape Competition

March 18-21, 2020 (Note that due to coronavirus concerns, the 2020 competition has been cancelled. A Virtual NCLC Event, featuring a career fair and educational content, was held on April 7-8. More details are available here.)

The National Collegiate Landscape Competition is an annual three-day powerhouse event which brings together the top landscape and horticulture students, top industry companies and dozens of the biggest industry manufacturers and suppliers. Each year more than 700 students from two- and four-year colleges demonstrate their skills in real-world, competitive events and network with top companies at the largest Career Fair in the industry.

Workforce Summit

The landscape industry is experiencing a workforce crisis. No amount of action from any individual company will solve this problem. It is time for industry professionals to work together to identify solutions to this crippling challenge. The competition is no longer the landscape contractor down the street but employers from other industries that are upping the ante to attract the talent they need. The landscape industry needs to confront long-standing assumptions and break the mold of tried and true hiring and work practices. This Summit will host two days of dialogues that will explore big picture topics and incite industry action.
