ELEVATE is a private conference and trade show owned and managed by the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP). Only employees or bona-fide representatives of entities engaged in landscape management, installation, design build, lawn care, irrigation & water management and interior plantscaping are eligible to attend. Students, groundskeepers/facility managers, employees of a non-profit organization, NALP supplier members and pre-approved guests are also eligible to attend. Non-members of NALP that provide product/services for end use to any of the above are not eligible to attend ELEVATE unless they exhibit and attend as an exhibitor. NALP reserves the right to refuse admittance to any registrant.

Product/service demonstration or solicitation of business, including but not limited to literature distribution by non-exhibitors or exhibitors outside of their contracted exhibit space or in any NALP contracted facility is strictly prohibited.*

NALP has the sole discretion and right to deny registration and/or immediately remove violator(s) from Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center and revoke show credentials from violator(s) without prior notice or hearing or refund. NALP may also, at its sole discretion, bar any violator(s) from future shows. Children under 16 years of age, including infants in strollers, are not permitted in the exhibit hall.

Cancellation Policy

For ALL registration fees, including ticketed events: Cancellations received by Monday, August 28, 2023 will receive a full refund, less a $150 processing fee for each registrant. No refunds will be granted for requests received after August 28th. Refunds will not be given for no-shows.

Substitution Policy

A transfer of your full registration is permitted prior to the conference. Onsite transfers must be accompanied with proof of the original confirmation letter. Only one transfer is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the transfer request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution. Badge sharing, splitting and reprints are strictly prohibited.

Consent to Use of Photographic Images

Registration for or participation in NALP events and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant/attendee to the use and distribution of the individual's image and/or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such events and activities by NALP and other third parties.

What is the Event Cancellation Policy?

NALP reserves the right to cancel an event due to any circumstances that in NALP's sole judgement make the event non-viable. If NALP cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, NALP has the right to either issue full refunds or transfer registrations to the same event at the new, future date. Aside from the registration fee, NALP will not be responsible for reimbursement of any participant expenses related to the cancellation or postponement of an event.

Attendee Release from Liability

Please note that when you check in onsite at the event, you will be asked to agree to adhere to NALP precautions and policies and acknowledge and understand that you are knowingly and freely assuming all risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, by attending this event. Each attendee will be required to acknowledge and assume this risk--you will not be permitted to pick up registrations for other attendees. Refusal to adhere to NALP policies and abide by all precautions may result in immediate removal from the event and cancellation of registration, without receiving a refund.

Special Requirements

NALP wishes to ensure that no individual with a disability or special needs is excluded, denied services, segregated or otherwise treated differently from other individuals because of the absence of auxiliary aids and services. Attendees may request auxiliary aids or services or indicate dietary restrictions when registering. If you have additional information you would like to provide to the events team regarding your needs, please send an email to NALP Events.

NALP Code of Conduct

NALP strives to offer a positive and safe environment for all event attendees. NALP’s Code of Conduct outlines our requirements and expectations to ensure a positive experience. By registering for/attending an NALP event, you agree to follow the NALP Code of Conduct. NALP is dedicated to a safe, productive and welcoming environment free from discrimination and harassment. NALP expects all meeting participants (including attendees, event staff, NALP staff, presenters, vendors, guests, contractors, students and exhibitors) to treat other participants with respect. NALP does not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. “Harassment” includes, but is not limited to:

  • Verbal comments, jokes or imagery that reinforce negative stereotypes related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion or sex;
  • Sexual images in public spaces;
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking or following;
  • Inappropriate and unwelcome physical contact;
  • Unwelcome sexual attention, including persistent romantic invitations even after such invitations have been declined; and
  • Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behavior
If you are being harassed or have witnessed harassment and would like to make a report, please contact any NALP staff member or send an email to elevate@landscapeprofessionals.org. You may also report concerns of harassment occurring at an NALP event by calling (800) 395-2522 and selecting the events department. If you have been a victim of assault or believe yourself to be in danger, seek help immediately by calling 911 or contacting hotel or conference security.

A report of harassment may result in a warning, removal from or denial of access to NALP events and exclusion from future NALP events on a temporary or permanent basis. NALP may also provide information regarding the report of harassment to the company of the individual identified in the report and also to state or local authorities if warranted. If a participant is asked to leave an event because of a report received under this policy, the participant will not receive a refund.

Weapons Policy

In order to ensure a safe environment for ELEVATE attendees and staff, the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) prohibits the wearing, transporting, storage or presence of firearms or other dangerous weapons in our contracted space. Any such person found in possession of a firearm or other weapon while at ELEVATE in our contracted space is in violation of this policy. NALP may revoke show credentials from violator(s) without prior notice or hearing or refund, be removed from the property and reported to police authorities. Possession of a valid concealed weapons permit authorized by the State of Texas is not an exemption under this policy.
